My family bathroom had a very long tap spout, which interfered with lower legs and knees of adults and heads of little playing people. Because this is an ‘external’ part of the tap, there was no chance of it adhering to any standard or expected measurements. But the spout itself is held with two o-rings and one grub screw. So… to FreeCAD!

Don't get me wrong, this is more a way of sharing the CAD file to hopefully help somebody else model a spout than the notion that the model - as it is - works for any other tap. Naturally the FreeCAD model is available for download.

The model needs printing standing up from the tap end, it could do with supports for the o-ring grooves, the internal screen and this also increases the adhesion to the print bed. I used PETG with very low infill. For strength, I would probably increase the perimeters before the infill.

I intend to swap the model with some frequency, as I do not trust the printed surface of PETG to not accumulate mould and other rubbish (inside and outside), so be wary of this.
