Summary
Wanted to mix together a flower ornament I designed for myself and a fidget spinner because why not. Sharing it with the world too because why not. Print in place. Make sure your printer has at least 0.2mm tolerance. The base model is HUGE (130x130mm) so I recommend scaling it down 50% in your slicer. Smaller version may release too if there's any demand.

How I Designed This
Flower Design in FreeCAD
First I had to create the flower model. I used FreeCAD and tools such as polar pattern, additive loft, and datum planes to make the ornament.

Bearing Design
My inspiration for the bearing design came from other 3D printable fidget toys such as Kong's bubble wrap fidget on MakerWorld (https://makerworld.com/en/models/991103-bubble-popping-fidget-toy-print-in-place#profileId-966602). My first inspiration, however, was from my experience playing with a print tolerance test: uploaded to Thingiverse by Alex2667. (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3051094)
I created the shape needed to split the flower ornament into two parts but have a void that would be printable. At 50% scale this tolerance is 0.2mm.

My Fidget's Design
In FreeCAD I used the Boolean "Cut" feature to create a ring-shaped void inside the flower.

First Test
At first, the model printed perfectly in place, however, the void did not have enough 'depth' cutting into the horizontal plane of the flower, so the thing printed the walls straight up and down: the middle of the flower slides right out of the rest of the fidget.

Revision and Success
I extended the radius of the ring so that the middle cannot slide out from the rest of the part so easily. In FreeCAD, the original distance at 100% scale was 1.5mm. In the revised model, this was increased to 5mm.
I'm not sure what this value is named. I used a b-spline, and the horizontal distance between the end points and the furthest point is the 5mm described.
