Introduction
A slightly over-engineered shelf.
What you need
- Time. The shelf prints for > 17h.
- Enough filament. The printer will eat > 350g.
- 2 screws to mount the shelf at the wall: 6 x 100
What you might need (optional)
- round bar for the rotor (8mm diameter and length 10 .. 12 cm)
- 4 x threaded inserts M3 (e.g. Ruthex RX-M3x5,7)
Print preparation
Decide on your approach:
Option 1: Print the provided gcode file.
Option 2: Use the provided STL file and slice it according to your needs.
Option 3: Download the openSCAD model and modify it to your needs (1).
Printing
Print it and remove the supports.
Post-printing
You might want to color the YAS.
You might want to add the threaded inserts.
You might want to add the rotor bar.
Usage
The YAS can be used to install the Bosch charger BCS220 holder. Or you design your own holder.
The top plate's dimensions are 200 x 120 mm.
The threaded inserts are placed at 150 x 102 mm - seen from the center of the plate.
Disclaimer
Neither mechanical nor thermal tests have been done. It is unknown how much load the shelf can take. This “thing” has been published so that it can be used and re-mixed by anyone. Especially no experience has been gathered how the thing behaves if it is used for devices which can get hot. Use at your own risk.
