Simple lid to cover my coffee mug and keep it from getting cold too fast or trash falling in.
It's not meant to be spill proof, only to help keep heat from escaping, and bugs trash from falling in. So that you can take it with you to your desk, workshop, vanity while getting ready, outside in the morning, etc. Careful walking with a full cup with it on, it can be sloshing or tilting underneath and you may not realize it.
I made the top extra thick (1.5cm) and printed at 25% cubic infill to create thermal chambers for insulation. The top has a slightly outsized ridge so that it's easy to pick up.
The opening is 100mm diameter and designed to fit over (not within) the mug. This way it can accommodate various mug sizes. If you need it to cover a mug larger than that, you can just ratio the X and Y axis up a bit.
I added text to the cover on mine in the picture using Tinkercad. But the model has no text on it. I might add one with just ‘coffee’ on it later.
