I made this model because my printer had issues to print low-tolerance moving parts in place (they would always meld together). 

With this model I figured out that most of my issue was an elephant foot, which was easily solved with going down in temperature a couple of degree.

The gap is designed to be 0.5mm in width across a 1cm height.
