A trash can designed specifically for storing excess extrusion materials.
Maybe it's just me—every time I squeeze out consumables, I can't help but toss them away carelessly. But somehow, they always get caught in midair, ending up piling up a layer of "plastic hair" on the floor. But from now on, this will never happen again!
Although it's not perfect yet, this small trash can performs quite well in accurately catching and "trapping" the consumables that fall into its "mouth". It can also serve as a storage rack for tweezers, which is a two-in-one solution.

When printing, it is divided into two parts and formed independently. To prevent the slender lid parts from deforming or breaking during printing, I did not use a base plate support structure on the lid.
I chose PLA material for printing, but if I want the "forearm" of the lid to be more flexible, ABS might be a better choice. Of course, personally, I haven't encountered any breakage issues with PLA yet - even though I've tried to design the wall thickness to be thick enough to ensure its durability while maintaining a certain degree of flexibility for ease of use. Additionally, I also think that PLA has relatively weaker adhesion to filament during the printing process, while flexible materials like ABS are more likely to firmly grasp the filament, which might even lead
