There is a slot on the back of the tool for inserting an Exacto blade No. 1. The blade can only be inserted in one direction, and the tolerance is extremely precise. Therefore, when installing it, you need to apply a little force to ensure it is properly in place.

The aperture of the first edition is smaller, with a tolerance of almost zero, which allows for closer cutting to the edge, thereby completely removing more of the crimped portion.

The aperture of the second edition is larger, making it easier to use. You can just place it on the print bed and start operating. However, this design often retains some crimped edges, similar to the crimping effect of a roller press. Although it is recommended to use the second edition for printing, it may be a bit more difficult to load lead pellets into it.

At present, no matter which version it is, it has not yet provided a convenient blade replacement solution. Once the blade becomes blunt or broken, it needs to be replaced manually.
