As part of the STEM Scholars Program of the Governor of New Jersey, our team is committed to developing a 3D printing consumables splicing device:
Website: [https://sites.google.com/view/filamentsplicer/home?authuser=4](https://sites.google.com/view/filamentsplicer/home?authuser=4)
The first file is a Fusion 360 design file, which is easy to use and especially suitable for school and university users who enjoy free limited licensing. The next two files are the STL models of the current prototype; and the last file retains the design of the early heating cavity for users who prefer this type of structure and want to incorporate it into their customized versions for reference.
Regarding this device, there are still many optimization spaces and improvement plans to be explored on the website.
The assembly is made of PETG material and was printed using an Ender 3 Pro printer.
