Define width/height/depth in OpenSCAD file as necessary.
You can also set the diameter of holes for insects and increment of the size for each row
(can be set to 0 to have all holes with same size)
The design will auto-fill the hotel with appropriate-sized holes.
Or just pick one of the 3 sizes already pre-generated.
No supports, no post-completion steps. Just print and place in the environment.
The design may be somewhat demanding on print time and material.
To speed things up and conserve material, use as large nozzle and as large layer as possible.
Recommended settings:
Layer height: 75% of nozzle width
Vertical shell -> Perimeters: 1
Horizonal shells -> Solid Layers -> Top: 3
Horizonal shells -> Solid Layers -> Bottom: 3
This will make the house more fragile, but still sturdy enough for use by insects
and you cut your print time and material consumption to approximately half.
The largest one still needs 22 hours and 425g of materials to print this way,
but the smallest one can be printed in around 3 hours with 50g of material.
