I created the glass backlight as part of a theater prop, and the manufactured piece includes a magnet. The light source is a bright 3 mm LED powered by a CR 2032 battery through a 100 ohm resistor. The pad is turned off by pulling out the drawer with the battery. The whole is welded with a point soldering iron, after a little modification it can be connected with screws.
