Solder a bent header on the inside of the display pointing inwards, and connect 8 Dupont female cables. Or solder wires straight to the back of the display. Route the cables through the slot on the back.

You only need to print the two “.step” files.

This design has a flaw in the pins that connect the lid to the bottom: they are very fragile so they snap of, and the clearance is small so any print defects will block the pin from entering the hole.
