Description:
This is a 3D-printable single DIN radio conversion bracket designed for the 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 (and compatible with 2002–2005 Ram models that use the same factory dash bezel). It allows you to mount an aftermarket single DIN head unit in place of the factory radio. The design is inspired by the general layout of the Metra 99-6503 kit but was modeled from scratch.

The bracket positions the radio correctly in the dash opening, providing solid mounting points that allow the use of a standard single DIN radio without needing the full commercial installation kit.

Notes:

• Modeled from the original radio holder.

• Not an exact one-for-one fit with the OEM or Metra kit, but it does the job and holds the radio securely.

• This part was printed on a Bambu Labs P1S using default Normal settings.

• Printed in PETG for improved heat resistance, since the part will be used inside a vehicle.

• Some minor sanding or trimming may be needed depending on printer tolerances, filament, or head unit size.

• Designed to be compatible with the factory dash bezel and standard single DIN radio dimensions.

• Recommended print orientation: flat on the back surface with supports as needed.
