This model allows you to mount a TPlink AP to a ¼" threaded rod should you need to drop it down a bit. It attaches to TPlink's existing mount using #8 machine screws.

Mount was designed for TPlink APs but their mount is designed to work with standard electrical back boxes, so if another manufactures mount works with an electrical back box, this should work for it as well.
