If you're planning to build a new enclosure for a Raspberry Pi 4, print this for your first test fit. The board is 1.7mm thick rather than the 1.5mm, but other dimensions are very close.
The biggest challenge with printing this design was the bottom of the board. Since the SD card is below the board, the SD card prints directly on the bed and the rest of the board is slightly elevated. For some reason, the supports under this small offset were very difficult to remove and left a terrible surface finish. I tried printing the board at an angle but it would tend to warp the edge touching the bed. The work around was to force the prusa slicer to float the model above the bed and print supports under the entire model.
How to make a part hover in Prusa slicer!
-- right click part and select 'add part' then box
>> first part and new box will become a merged part which can be individually selected in right sidebar
-- select new box in sidebar and change Z position to negative z-height / 2
>> top surface of box should appear flush with bed surface
-- select first part in sidebar and increase z-height
>> first part should appear to hover over the bed, regardless of x/y position of first part or new box
-- enable supports when slicing!!!
If you download the stl file and slice it differently, please let me know how it turns out!!!
