Summary
This is a new gear I made for my Ariens snowblower. I wanted my chute to turn further than 90 degrees to each side, so I made this one have teeth completely around the entire circle. The chute itself will hit the bracket/bar that holds it all, but you can trim that a little too with a metal grinder. I am guessing this gear adds 15-20 degrees more on each side. I have a cab on my snowblower, so I am not real concerned about getting hit with snow or debris when blowing, but use at your own risk.
I would say this is a work in progress since it is fairly crude. I am just learning to make things, mostly still in tinkercad, so it is pretty rough. If someone wants to clean it up (specifically the gear's teeth) feel free.
I printed mine out in PLA first to make sure it worked (blue one in my picture) then printed it at 100 infill with PETG on the official one. That being said, I still am using my original test PLA one and it has worked without issue about 5 times so far this winter.
