I wanted to free up some space on my desk, so I had the idea to fashion a set of hooks so I could hang my laptops vertically from the sides of my desk. I made these for my 2017 12" MacBook to go on the Zinus Jennifer Modern Studio Collection Soho Desk I got last year. The fit is very snug, so even though the left and right aren't connected, I'm not worried about any stability issues. There are openings on the sides so the usb-c and audio ports can be accessed while it's in the cradle.

I printed with 3 exterior perimeters to give it a little more strength because it has to flex to hook onto the desk. I printed mine with PETG, but I think PLA will work. I was concerned PLA may have been too brittle.
