This is a smart and easy way to prevent your robot so get stuck in poles, corners and similar.

To prevent the black plastic cover to "flex", I recommend to place a reinforcement on the inside of the cover, using it as a "washer" for the self tapping screws, which is then used to attach the bumper from the inside/out. No screws should be visible from outside.
