I printed 6 of these for my sister, as she wanted to gift them to her team. This was the first project I designed start to finish in FreeCad. well not 100% perfect I feel like I did get A solid first attempt here.
Now if you want to make one of these you will need 1 of each part except the sections you will need 8 of them.
You will also need a soldering iron.. I used my Pinecil for that job I recommend a flat tip angled tip.
You will also want to use PETG as it is more flexible and will not break when you bend it like the PLA test prints I made. I also used the shiny bed. there is zero supports here and most things should press fit. I recommend mouse ears for the pole, it is flat one side to make it print without supports.
Assembly
230-240C soldering iron
Be sure to dry fit and pre-fold all sections to the frame.
the fit can be a tad tricky try not to force it. i found that the locations pegs can break if they globed up during printing. you can use the soldering iron to smooth them out before fitting them together.
after all the slots are filled with sections use your iron to flatten the extruding peg.
use your iron on the ends of the sections to tack them together after that slowly and carefully melt the protruding sections together to make a decently solid bond. repeat on all sides until done… if you want you can use a 3d pend to fill in the top sections not required but an option.
