The accelerator thumb knob on my kids' AskMy Electric Scooter snapped off, 3D printing to the rescue.

This is a direct replacement part.

Steps to replace.

1. Unscrew the handlebar grip. The right side is a reverse thread, so Righty Loosey, Lefty Tighty
2. Remove the 4 screws that hold the thumb knob to the housing
3. Insert a small prying tool or get your fingernails in between the knob and the housing and gently remove it from the gear.
4. Installing the new knob requires lining up the screw holes. I found it easiest to slightly offset from the geared teeth which allowed me to see both the holes in the housing and the knob and then angle the knob to get a few teeth started worked best.
5. Re-insert the 4 screws
6. Re-thread the handlebar handle

• You can probably get my without supports but I used them on the build plate to make it look cleaner
