Well, in German we call this type of lamp installation "Affenschaukel" (monkey swing).

It is a simple model that should be considered more from a design point of view, because its pretty big. 
It is also reminiscent of a climbing hold. Especially if you print it out of Rock PLA like I did.

I used strong double-sided adhesive tape to attach it.
I have attached one to the ceiling and one to the wall to guide the cable.

By the way, the distance to the wall or ceiling is large enough to thread a Europlug through.
