These spools are double-ended to avoid tangles and strong enough to stand up to the forces involved in reed tying. If you make a lot of reeds they will make your life easier!

You may wish to have a fairly high infill ratio for strength, but printing in regular PLA with 3 walls and 25% infill has been more than adequate for my needs. The winder must be printed horizontally, not standing.
