This is a remix of another Conduit Clip. The simple cord holder by ZugZug21 inspired the redesign. While that one works fine for its purpose, I needed something with a bit more grip and a more secure capture of the cord.
I came up with a very similar design that includes a few changes.

I printed it in PLA on the Prusa Mini+, but a wiser choice would be to use material that is more durable for your application , weather if outdoor etc. I would have used ABS or PETG if I had any.
Also, this can be printed on the fastest, largest extrusion settings. DRAFT mode at .25mm layer height was perfect for this basic item, and given its simple shape, more resolution will not improve the look of the part.
I also used 100% infill to give added strength.
After using these clips printed in PLA over a winter season, they got brittle and several snapped in various places. PLA is just not a durable enough for my application, especially outdoors during late summer heat and cold winter temps. I replaced them with PETG finally, and those work great. SO you should use PETG and these will probably last a lifetime.I got tired of needing a cutter to destroy nylon zip ties to hold things onto my conduit canopy. These are reusable, and the are hefty enough to hold the heavy string of lights or other items without worry.
Loop the smaller hook under your cord or whatever you are hanging from the conduit first, then slip the big circle over the pipe until it “snaps” tightly onto the pipe.
How I Designed This

ZugZug21’s clip was a simple, tubular semi-circle. I did the same with the following changes:
Decreased diameter to give the clip a more snug fit around 3/4 EMT conduit.
Decreased the gap—this clip has a 75% semi-circle which provides more security and is very unlikely to slip off.
Shifted the small hanger part (for a cord etc.) to one of the ends of the semi-circle. This shifts the hanging force to the opposite arm of the semi-circle and has more of a “loop over the pipe” support. You really cannot pull this off by pulling down from the wire clip part.
Increased the width of the semi-circle to strengthen it now that it springs open and to support weight.
Expanded the wire clip to make it harder for a hanging cord to slip out. It would have to come up and over the longer open end now, and is probably captive by the conduit in the way.
- Added a fillet—rounded the inside corners where the hanger part joins the conduit clip. This adds additional strength between the sections.
