My dogs were playing at the front door and they ran into my mudroom closet sliding door knocking it inwards. It flapped around for about 6 months and it wasn't until my dog found her way past the sliding dog to her dog treats that I was motivated to fix it.

After inspection, it was just a plastic piece inside of a metal bracket. I could have replaced the whole metal bracket with a hardware for 25 dollars, but I thought I could find a way to save some money.

This was tricky to get in just because of angles and I was too lazy to take the door off, but it works like a charm. My house has this kind of bracket on all of the sliding closet doors so I am sure there will be more houses with this part that breaks.

The plastic part in image 1 or the sliding part as the bottom of image 2 is what I replaced with this print.
