This is a desktop model of a surveyor's GPS base. This is a perfect gift for that surveyor close to you or your boss who forgot his base out on site! This model does not work well with supports, when I attempted this method the supports tore the model apart when attempting to remove them. This model seems to scale pretty well down to roughly 40% of the original size.
