I was searching for a combo stand to hold my iPhone and Beats Pill speaker. I came up empty, so I designed this stand using TinkerCAD.

My design approach for this project was to explore the use of friction fit parts using pin connectors contributed by another creator on Thingiverse. In addition, I wanted to act on best practices for printing parts in the best orientation for 3D printing.

The design is composed of (4) major parts: base, sides, and seat. There are (8) pin connectors that hold the assembly together. I did eventually use glue to make the assembly permanent.

An access hole for the charging cable for the player above is included in the design.
