Summary
This is a case to hold a Sparkfun Weather Shield weather station and SpartFun Redboard Arduino, along with an Electric Imp IoT wifi cadaptor, Solar Buddy charger and LiPo battery. I received the parts for the SparkFun weather station 4 years ago and put them in a standard hobby box and have had it running on my house for the last four years. A failure of the solar cell resulted in me having to take it off the roof. I decided to make a new case for it before putting it back on the roof.
If you want to check out the running weather station it is ISTOKE4 on Wunderground

Notes:
There are two clear parts. The Ambient light pipe and the indicator light pipe. Print these with clear PLA filament. The files have a disk on the bottom to get good adhesion. That needs to be cut off once finished. I gripped the disk in a chuck to spin the part so that i could use sand paper to polish the parts. The clear parts need to be printed with 100% fill. It helps to wind the extruder temperature up to the max, or even a few degrees over, for the material to get good bonding. Run the extruder feed at 120%. My clear parts came out pretty well. They are a little cloudy but work well for light transmission.
