I keep old hotel key cards to use as flexible scrapers. They are especially helpful to scrape the windshield of my truck on cold mornings. Mind you, I only get a little hoar frost. This is not for heavy-duty scraping.
Version shown is Sunlu black ASA 50% fill at 0.35-mm layer height.
Material, layer height and fill percentage are all flexible. It is made in 3 pieces so that support is not required. The spacer is 0.6-mm thick and should result in 0.1-mm to 0.2-mm interference to provide good clamping force.
My PEI bed sheet is trashed on my Prusa i3Mk2S, so I needed to sand the bed-side parts and remove chunks of PEI.
You will want to insert the heat-set nuts from the top side of the “bottom” part. The part thickness is 3-mm so they should end up flush on both sides. You need the bed-side of the “bottom” to be flat after the nuts are set to ensure that there is even and sufficient clamping force on the card, so you may need to sand lightly after the nuts are set.
Uses quantity 5 M3 3-mm X 5-mm heat-set nut and quantity 5 M3X10-mm flat head screw. I intentionally mixed mine with hex drive in the handle end and Phillips head in the clamp.
