Yet another version of the fidget spinner.
All my friends want one and I was running out of 608 bearings. So I decided to create my own version that uses heavy zinc-plated 1/2"-13 nuts for the counter weights.
There are 3 versions with 3x, 4x, and 5x nuts. Each spinner uses a standard 608 skate bearing.
Print the following:
The1/2" nuts I used are 11.2mm tall. The spinner body is 7mm high (to match the height of the 608 bearing) which leaves 4.2mm difference. Theassembly jig is used to center the nut in the spinner body.
The tolerance for the nut inserts is very tight. You will need to use a rubber mallet.
Note: The grips have extra spacing on them so they clear the nuts on each side to allow for spinning on a flat surface.
