Starlink Dishy to two inch pipe adapter.
[EDIT] Important printing notes:
- print this in ASA if you have it because it's UV resistant
- I printed mine top-side down, with supports. (Top as mounted, the smaller opening facing the printing plate)
- The model in the photograph required some filing/sanding on the inside before the dishy would easily "click in place"
- The STL and FreeCAD source have had the inner diameter increased by 0.5mm to avoid the sanding I did on my print. Please let me know if this fits well as-printed
This is a decent, likely temporary pipe adapter for starlink dishy to two inch DirectTV mount which was no longer in use.
The print used in the photograph required some sanding on the inside of the dishy section
NOTE: In this .stl I've widened the dishy pipe section by 0.5 mm, and have not tested it, Have included the FreeCAD source so you can modify that yourself. Frankly I'm not happy with the top of it but you know, was in a rush to get it mounted....
I used 100% infill ABS, I now realize ASA has great UV protection so I will re-print this in ASA soon and replace it.
This was a very snug fit on both the dishy pipe and the 2" pipe, I've added two hose clamps to hold it snug and prevent rotation in strong winds..
I have concerns over grounding, the antenna mount is grounded so I expect to attach a wire from the dishy pipe to the DirectTV pipe
