Description:

Most 3D-printed passport holders online are based on the standard ICAO B7 passport size (88 × 125 mm), but in reality many passports are slightly larger due to thicker covers or extra pages. For example, Irish passports measure around 90 × 127 mm, meaning standard holders can be a very tight fit or won’t work at all.

This is a Gridfinity-compatible passport holder I designed in Tinkercad to comfortably fit larger passports while keeping them secure.

Easy to customise in Tinkercad or your printing software of choice for your own label or cutout size

Printing Tips:

PLA works fine (I used PLA Silk for the red accent layer)

I used two filament swaps to add a single red highlight layer that covered the top of the text I added.

Recommended layer height: 0.2 mm

10–15% infill
