When you want to explain the Ohm's law you can use this piece. Just place a resistor in the center with the wires going down the holes. Then use two standard “banana” cables to hold it in place and make the connection. You can now connect two multimeters and measure voltage (U) and current (I). 

This is more of an education tool for your science, physics, or electronics class rather than a workshop tool.
