I switched my MPMD to e3d clones a while ago (current version) https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3717404 Previous version https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3641567
The big problem I have been having is heat creep and not being able to retract the filament into the PTFE tube to change colors. I don't want to remove the mount to do a fix so I came up with this.
This is a wrench that grabs the PTFE bowden connector, and while holding the heat block I can remove it enough to clear the jam. The e3d Clone bowden connector is a pain to remove. Harder then the threaded bowden connector is removing the PTFE. SO this was designed to slip over the PTFE tube to help remove. I have only tested it with my not-installed e3d clone but I would imagine it should be fine on installed (that was the point of designing it).
Do not use on a hot e3d clone.
The wrench lock should be printed and fitted/worked, it is not necessary but when testing the PLA+ might bend/flex to much so I came up with that to prevent any flex.
The wrench lock goes on the same but needs a rotation (180-degrees for best results).

Press fit, work till moveable.
The wrench lock is very tight, use the top (filleted) press on work on and off flipping the wrench lock a few times till it moves on and off well.
