The purpose of this design is to use the “butterfly hole” file and make a hole in the wood with the help of a cutting machine. Then take the “butterfly piece” file and make a piece with the help of the cutting machine. After that you insert the piece into the hole, so we have a mechanical joint between two pieces of wood.
