My wife was approached by a friend to make a display for a friend.  It is a block with some pumpkins that have the persons grand-childrens names on several pumpkins.  Now, I do wood working but my shop is currently dismantled so I asked…how about 3d printed?  Everybody seems happy with the results.  The first test pumpkin and block was printed in black PLA where my wife needed to paint them.  I did get some orange PLA to do the final models but she still needed to put the names on the pumpkins and some stuff on the block.  Once the paint work was done, we used satin clear coat.
