My problem was simple: I had multiple cables on outside walls designed for future use (lights, security cameras, …) and I wanted to hide them somehow and prevent UV/weather deterioration of the cables themselves at the same time.

Hence I came up with an idea of a hedgehog, which hides the cables and has minimal contact with the wall material, causing minimal wall stains or possible damage. There is a screw-on lid and four “legs”.

Used them for a year already (all-day direct sun exposure, outside temperatures from -15 to +35 C) and the material shows no issues.

Used material: ASA + a few spare screws.
