Summary
We have two types of doors in our school and we want to be able to lock them quickly without using a key in case there is a sub. Our solution were creating two ABS plastic parts that we printed ourselves on our 3D printer. The door always remains locked but opens when the part is in a certain position. If there is an intruder, a person could slightly open the door and slide the part into the locked position. The locks in action can be viewed at...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dNxqyoSrQRc
The original roller lock version might stick out too much. We've had several break when students get their backpacks hooked on them or something. I just uploaded a left and right smaller version that seems to be working better.
