Summary
While trying to extend the build area of my old Anycubic Kossel Linear, I chose to do so by increasing the width of the frame. At first, I considered extending the rail length, but it was too wobbly. Increasing the length of the frame corners seemed like a simple and more secure way method, without purchasing new rails.
I chose to increase each side by at least 4 inches (about 110mm). To do this, I extended each side of each corner by 55mm , moving the anchor point of each beam out by the same. It may take time to print, but it should be cheaper than buying new rails. Of course, longer push rods will be needed for the increased width, but that's another matter.
The increase in width should add at least 30 to 80mm in diameter to the printable area, given a new print surface fitting the wider frame. I've also developed mounts points for a square build surface, compatible with the Kossel Linear frame, which I will post later.
Some wires may need to be lengthened to reach the main board. In my case, I developed a simple rack that puts the board within range of all but one end-stop, which was simple to tweak.

Successfully printed, I realized that the bottom corners needed a few modifications to support the feet I'd designed for the Anycubic and needed recessions in the top and bottom to allow easier access and a better angle for stepper motor installation. I used a dremel to drill out what I needed, so I decided to build the recession into the design. Version 2 of the bottom corner includes these mods.
Other than a few additional tests, this should be the final design. I have already rebuilt my Anycubic Linear frame with the new corners.
