APPLICATION OF THIS DESIGN SHOULD BE DONE BY AUTHORIZED PERSONEL ONLY - DEALING WITH 230V~ (MAINS in EU) IS DANGEROUS AND SHOULD NOT BE CARRIED OUT BY ANY PERSONS NOT HAVING THE PROPER QUALIFICATION!!!

Multi part external emergency stop box used for my FLUX desktop laser cutter to stop in case of any issue or emergency like material catching fire. 

You will need:

•  a special “Kaltgeräte-Verlängerung” to connect the device to be stopped
• mechanical emergency switch (available on i.e. Amazon) 
• “Kaltgeräte-Stecker” - jack
• “Kaltgeräte-Buchse” - socket
• M3 Scews and bolts - what fits best (used M3x15 on hand) 
• M3 screw inserts 

Print the “FNA Box” (or “FNA Box klein” used by myself) and the “FNA Deckel” in any “easy to see” color to make identification of the stop as easy as possible and print the “FNA Einleger” in any contrast color you like (i took white)

Assembly should be straight forward: 

• use a soldering iron to fix the M3 screw inserts to the “FNA Deckel” and make sure they're flush with the outer contour of the cover
• place the “FNA Einleger” into the cover and assemble the emergeny switch 
• assemble the jack and socket using M3 screws
• wire everything up and check connections using a DMM - make sure the connections cannot touch each other as they're featuring mains voltage (!!! DANGER !!!)
• close the box and secure the cover using 4 M3 screws
