This alignment base is designed to make it easier to line up your CV-01 laser to the item up want to engrave or cut.   I used the CV-01 laser to engrave a working area grid to aid in part placement.

This base is made from low cost press board that is available at most home improvement stores (Home depot, Lowes, Menards, etc…) but it can be made from aluminum or many different materials you decide what's best for your application. 

This base was cut using a larger laser but could be made using simple shop tools. 

The Fusion360 file is included so others can tweak the model to fit their needs.
