An open-walled magnetic rack, designed for 1.5 / 1.7 mL centrifuge tubes and powerful AMF 22023A magnets (20mm x 10mm x 5mm; 7.4kg pull force). In testing, this can clear 150 µl of Ampure XP beads in about 30-60s, and 150µl of his-tagged dynabeads in about 2-5s.

A smaller rack is also available that works with 200μl PCR tubes and AMF 22010A magnets (12mm x 5mm x 2mm; 1.23kg pull force). This clears 150 μl of Ampure XP beads in about 3 minutes, and 150 μl his-tagged dynabeads in about 10s.

Print without supports, with the tube holder part facing down (as in the model). Multiple models are provided for different numbers of tubes; please send me a message if you would like this to support a different magnet or tube configuration.

Magnets are slotted in through the top, then [optionally] fixed with glue. A push hole has been included in the bottom to make it easier to disassemble the rack and use the magnets for another purpose.
