A faceplate for the control box listed as the remix source.
Parts
- A compact 12V DC PWM board with mounted potentiometer. It doesn't have a model number, but it looks like this.

- An XH-M131 photosensor board. The dimensions on the carrier for it aren't quite right.
- A 20mm-diameter round switch with an alignment leg on the left, that looks like this. Easy to find on Amazon: “20mm round switch”

- A .425"-diameter DC input, 5.5x2.1mm female. Also easy to find on Amazon: “12v panel mount female jack”

Assembly
Mount the motor controller board to its plate with M3 screws (6mm or less). Mount the motor plate to the faceplate with M2 screws.
Attach the photosensor board to its plate. I put a velcro strip in the box to hold it in place. You could probably also make tape work.
Wire everything up and jam it in. The photos show the arrangement I settled on. To route the photoresistor, LED, and motor wires out of the box, I drilled ¼" holes in each side.
