In a hurry and need extra egg dippers for dying Easter eggs? Look no further!
These dippers use less than 1.5g of filament, print flat on the build plate in 5 minutes, and then get shaped afterwards by a quick bit of heat on the cutouts and a couple bends. I used a chef's torch to briefly heat the PLA before shaping, but a heat gun or even hair dryer should also work.
Print Instructions: I used 3 perimeters and 15% grid infill to ensure the dipper has enough strength to hold large eggs even after bending.
Tip: To keep the dipper from melting or distorting too much, use less heat than you think before trying to bend the dipper handle. Once the handle is bent, a little cold running water can help to immediately solidify the PLA and lock in the shape.
