I am using this enclosure to make RP2350-based FIDO2 security keys. I am describing the process in a series of articles on LinkedIn:
PETG is recommended, but you should be able to use PLA
I used https://www.printables.com/model/1248338-rp2350-usb-case as an inspiration. My design includes a section under the USB connector to ensure better contact. My top and bottom layers are also much thinner.
In the design, the space between the lid and the body of the case is 0.04mm, so you need to make sure your printer is dialled in quite well.
I have added a version of the lid that has a hole over the LED, to make it suitable for printing with opaque filament.
