This tray attaches to the side of the printer. In order to attach it, you have to lift up the printer slightly to fit the hooks into the bottom of the aluminum extrusion. The first hook is intended to go between the front plate and one of the antivibration feet in order for the tray to fit more firmly in place. It is easy to remove by slightly lifting the printer and applying a little bit of downward force onto the tray.
