Noticed that my silly little Budgerigar (parakeet) kept using its water bowl as a bird bath and struggled to actually fit and got stuck more than once. So i rigged this up and included the ramp and step bumps as a way to both give the bird an easier time getting out and a way of indicating depth, high walls to stop it splashing water everywhere.
I used clear PETG when i printed it but PLA would work as long as its one of the food safe types (no extra stuff in it) but you may want to use higher infill to counteract the PLA's lower tolerance for sustained weight (i used 15% for the PETG on triangle pattern and its plenty sturdy).
