I have previously made a 22.9g walksnail whoop, using the under-frame mounting of the FC style popularized by Shutterbug FPV (See my other models). This time i wanted to use the new Meteor65 Air frame, but unfortunately there is not enough room under the battery tray for an FC or VTX. So i cut the battery tray off and made these lightweight standoffs that double as a battery holder. the side mounts are a T shape to hopefully protect the VTX in case of a rough landing.

To build this, cut out the battery tray, and run some motor screws through the back side of the FC mounting posts (there are holes in them already, but you need to ream them out to M1.4). Feed the TPU print through the VTX mounting holes (its a tight fit) and then put a Reny or Peek screw through the hole. Its somewhat fiddly getting a screwdriver to this screw to mount it into the frame (need to flex the frame/TPU ), but you can also fit a tiny flathead screwdriver in the gap between the TPU and the VTX hole to tighten it that way.

I chose to use enamel wire/motor wire for the motor wires and ground wire of the pigtail, but you can just use normal wire there too. I suspect it would end up a bit over 21g if you do that.

Camera is mounted in the Mobula6 canopy which is even lighter than the mobula6 HDZero canopy i previously used (0.65g if you use the older 3 post version). Use some double-sided tape on the FC to prevent the camera hitting it during crashes.

Oh and the FC is a Happymodel Superbee, with the antenna wire replaced with enamel wire (saved 0.2g), and mounted inverted. A slot is cut in the canopy to clear the USB port.

Oh and the lite version of the standoff/holders saves 0.15g but sacrifices durability. I did that to build an 18.63g WS whoop, but that didn't have OSD and wasn't really practical
