Holder for an Apple HomePod mini, meant to be wall-mounted. There is space in between the two pieces for cable management.
Two options for the backplate:
A) the cable comes out through the bottom of the enclosure; uses 6 M3x8 screws (3 millimeter diameter, 8 millimeter length) or similar to attach the backplate to the pod holder. This plate requires you to plan your cable management, attach the backplate to the holder, attach the thing to the wall, then finish mounting the HomePod.
B) the cable can optionally come out the back of the enclosure through either of the new through-holes; does not require fasteners to attach backplate to holder, but uses pegs to press-fit. The hanging deformation of the holes in the holder, when print upside-up, allow the pegs to hold by friction (specially on older machines; works well on my MK3S+ & regular PLA). If your machine does too good of a job and they're loose, try adding a layer of electrical tape to the pegs. This plate allows you to first attach it to the wall, then mount the holder to it.
The holder can be printed with supports; the backplate doesn't need any. The holder will hold the HomePod mini quite snugly, enough to be able to mount it upside down.
A very basic remix of the original, the file is now split into two pieces, with two options for the backplate (both featuring a flat wall-mount surface to remove bridging issues).
