Summary
Duct for 50mm blower fans with a 20mm x 15mm outlet.
Fan Bracket attaches under existing side cover screws.
Blower fan is mounted with fan intake facing out, so that you can tell if it's powered, and so that it's not getting blocked by the front face of the 3d printing module.
Fan was screwed to fan bracket with a Subaru speaker screw, which resembles a 5mm wood screw thread.
The bracket for the touchscreen must be moved left by one screw hole, or moved forward 1 inch with the 3d-printed bracket extension, for the fan to not hit the touchscreen during homing.
Reduces stringing and nozzle buildup mess with PETG, and allows a fan deflector (for preventing ABS warpage from the bottom blowing fan) to be left in place when printing PETG or PLA.
Recalibrating the snapmaker to not extrude only 90mm of filament when commanded to extrude 100mm, and checking "connect infill lines" in Cura also solved a problem of incomplete PETG infill.
TIP: cover the y-axis linear module when removing the side cover screws, because it's easy to drop the non-magnetic stainless screws into it, and to get them out you have to turn the snapmaker upside down and shake.
