A Bracket for securing branch, stick or dowel to a wire mesh for use as a chicken (or other animal) perch. We used it in an Omelt walk in run but it will suit any wire mesh with a 3mm  (1/8") or less wire size with a minimum mesh size of 20mm.

The bracket is designed to secure a branch or dowel with a screw (using the screw hole) there are v-grooves on one side to aid location (whittle the branch as required) or as a flat bracket by mounting it the other way up.

Securing screw is 3d printed and uses a 3rd pusher block to provide secure pressure to an uneven wire mesh.

We printed in Formfutura Apollo X and a UV resilient material should be used for outdoor use, the ASA was nowhere near as nice to print as PLA but even with a slightly blobby finish (0.6mm nozzle was used) it assembles well. 

Support material is required in the cut use the paint on supports, the 3mf file attached has support included. Increase the number of vertical perimeters to increase the strength.
