I've been playing with the idea of making a piece of furniture that uses ceramics in it for a long time now, and this table idea came from that attempt. I mainly used 3d printing as a “quick” way to do mock-ups. I ended up printing the master mold from which the slip-cast production molds were made, the glazing dip tank, and also the transition parts between different materials. After about three and a half years, I ran out of energy and money. Attached are photos of the processes I used and some of the other leg shapes. If there is an interest, I will rework and share more of the other designs.
